About Me.

"Perfection is no small thing, but it is made up of small things."
Michelangelo

Having worked in this field for almost 20 years now has taught me many things about how an image is perceived by the viewer. One of them is that no two people can see color exactly the same way. My job has been largely trying to see the way other people see things in order to fulfill their vision.

Sometimes images and details need to be improvised from scratch, when there isn't another image to "steal' from. This is where having an Illustration background and an eye for detail helps tremendously. The understanding of light source, shadow detail, perspective and the photographer's intent are some of the key ingredients in making images look natural and believable. Drawing the line between making images look overly retouched or naturally clean.
